The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco have had a close working relationship with the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) for over thirty years. Through this partnership, many important works of art, artifacts, and exhibitions have come to San Francisco, including the world premiere of Teotihuacan: City of Water, City of Fire opening September 30 at the de Young.

Like you, we were devastated to learn that not one but two earthquakes have crippled the regions of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Mexico City in recent weeks. Our hearts are with our friends, colleagues, and others affected.

Our staff is directing contributions to Topos, a citizen brigade that supports rescue efforts for those trapped under collapsed buildings.
