Class Visits to the Works on Paper Collection
The Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts houses the Museums’ collection of works on paper (prints, drawings, and photographs) and is available for classes of up to 15 students to engage with works from the permanent collection. Object selection and class sessions are coordinated by a curator in the department and visits are monitored by a FAMSF docent.
Classes may be scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays only and must be scheduled by January 15 (spring semester), May 15 (summer session), or August 15 (fall semester). Please review the guidelines before contacting email@example.com for an appointment.
The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco’s education department offers volunteer internships for undergraduate and graduate students seeking academic credit. Education department internships offer exposure to potential careers in a visual art museum and provide mentorship and professional development.
