Centered around a ballet performance of Hans Christian Andersen’s dark fairy tale, a ballerina (Moira Shearer) is torn between her love for a ballet director (Anton Walbrook) and a composer (Marius Goring). Impressive choreography by Robert Helpmann and performances by the Lermontov Ballet Company.
