Slow Art Day
This event is expired.
One day each Spring people all over the world visit museums and galleries to look at art slowly.
The structure of Slow Art Day is simple: visit a museum, choose a work of art, and spend five to ten minutes engaging with it. Discuss your experience with friends or join the online conversation using #SlowArtDay. That’s it. Simple by design, the goal is to focus on the art and the practice of seeing.
