Join us for this dynamic three-day juried event featuring visual art, film, museum object talks, an art history symposium, music, and performances by university and college art and art history students, inspired by the de Young's permanent collections as well as the following special exhibitions:
- Botticelli to Braque: Masterpieces from the National Galleries of Scotland
- Embodiments: Masterworks of African Figurative Sculpture
- Janet Delaney: South of Market
- Diebenkorn Prints: Celebrating an Acquisition
Friday Nights at the de Young, April 24, 6–8:30 pm
Showcase will be on display in the Piazzoni Murals Room during regular museum hours
Free general admission into the galleries between 6–8:30 pm for college and university students and faculty with current ID
Saturday, April 25, 1–4 pm
Showcase will be on display in the Piazzoni Murals Room during regular museum hours
Bay Area Undergraduate Art History Symposium, 1–4 pm, Koret Auditorium
Sunday, April 26, 1–4 pm
Showcase will be on display in the Piazzoni Murals Room during regular museum hours
UC Berkeley Graduate Student Art Object Talks, between 10 am–3 pm in the permanent collection galleries
Ticket Information
Friday Nights at the de Young programs are free of charge. Tickets are required to visit the permanent collection and special exhibition galleries.
