Monet: The Late Years Special Exhibition Teacher Workshop

The de Young Museum will be offering a special exhibition for the final phase of Claude Monet's career Monet: The Late Years, from 1913 to 1926. The fifty canvases on display were inspired by the environment of Monet's garden at Giverny and his on-going pursuit of artistic innovation. Educators will be offered a first look, exhibition resources, and a hands-on activity to prepare for their class visit. This workshop is ideal for educators teaching grades K-5 and 9-12.
Teacher workshops are offered free of charge. Registration requires a $25 deposit, which is refunded after you attend the program. You may also secure your registration by mailing a check with your confirmation email. Cancellations must be made one week in advance to avoid forfeiting your deposit.
