See it first as a member! Members at all levels are invited to see Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving before the exhibition opens to the public. This can't-miss exhibition provides an intimate look at the iconic Mexican artist’s personal costumes, accessories, photographs, and ephemera uncovered in 2004 at La Casa Azul (now Museo Frida Kahlo) in Mexico City. The de Young museum is the only West Coast venue for this exhibition.
Tickets will be available online on February 7.
Tickets to the Member Preview are timed, to provide an enjoyable gallery experience. Advanced reservations are highly encouraged. Your membership must be active on the day of the event. Discounted and Individual level members may reserve up to two tickets. Dual level members may reserve up to four tickets. Family level members and above may reserve up to four tickets plus six child / youth tickets.
