Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs explores the life and accomplishments of the eminent military officer who became king of Egypt as the remarkable Ramses II—one of the most remarkable and celebrated rulers in history. The opulence of ancient Egyptian civilization and the beauty of its precious treasures are revealed in the dazzling objects on view.
