As we aim to make the in-person experience at the Museums as safe as possible through new timed ticketing policies and limited capacity within exhibition spaces, we are committed to providing as much time as possible for our generous supporters to see these distinctive presentations.
Upon the Museums’ reopening, we are delighted to offer private viewing hours of our special exhibition for our members at the Contributor, Enthusiast, and Partner levels on select Mondays.
Join us on Monday, October 26, 11 am–3 pm, for Member and Donor Viewing Hours of Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving. This exhibition examines how politics, disability, and national identity influenced Kahlo’s diverse modes of creativity. The exhibition features highly personal items that came to light in 2004 at her lifelong home, La Casa Azul (now Museo Frida Kahlo) in Mexico City alongside paintings and drawings that span Kahlo’s career. Together they illuminate the complexities of Kahlo’s iconic self-fashioning and her bold and uncompromising art.
Advance ticket booking is available for members for Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving. Timed tickets are required and we encourage you to use your membership number to book these online in advance and ensure you can visit at the most convenient time for you. We look forward to welcoming you back into the galleries with exclusive access!
Please note that Member and Donor Viewing Hours are available to members at the Contributor level and above.
