Jordan Stein is an assistant curator with the Center for Art and Inquiry at the Exploratorium and is a co-founder of Will Brown, a collaborative exhibition and program space in San Francisco's Mission District. He also operates Glass, house, a curatorial production agency concerned with transparency.
His latest exhibition, Night (1947–2015), which investigates the matter of a missing Alberto Giacometti sculpture, runs through 2015 at Philip Johnson's Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut.
He has twice been awarded the Alternative Exposure Award from Southern Exposure and with Will Brown was a 2013 Artist-in-Residence at Headlands Center for the Arts. He received his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2005. Coverage of his recent projects has appeared in the New York Times, Artforum, and Frieze, and on NPR.
