Jewel City reassembles more than 200 works of art that were displayed at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition, including paintings, sculptures, prints, and photographs. The centennial celebration of this world’s fair, which showcased innovations, industries, and the arts, features examples illustrating the era’s range of artistic styles and movements. The teacher workshop will include educator resources, background about the development of the exhibition, and a studio activity. This program will be geared for students in the 4th grade and up.
Space is limited to 40 teachers. Deposit required. Please check back September 18th for registration forms.
