Rachel Teagle is the Director of the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum at UC Davis.
For over 15 years, Rachel Teagle has been a museum director and curator in San Diego and the Bay Area. Before coming to UC Davis to launch the new Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Museum of Art, Teagle was the executive director of the New Children’s Museum in San Diego and before that, the curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. At both museums, she presided over successful expansions and building projects. In San Francisco, she held curatorial positions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Anderson Collection.
