Friday Nights at the de Young, in partnership with the Arts Research Center at UC Berkeley, presents three unique programs that celebrate and respond to Janet Delaney: South of Market, currently on view at the de Young. The events occur on June 5, 12, and July 17.

San Francisco: Looking back as we look forwardThis evening explores the formal and social concerns of photographers who have made San Francisco their object of attention, focusing on Janet Delaney’s exhibition and considering its connection to a history of San Francisco photography.
