Interactive Hip Hop Lecture + Demonstration with Public Enemy 2.0’s Jahi

Join Public Enemy 2.0’s frontman Jahi in an interactive lecture, demonstration, performance, and “musical call to action” that highlights the intersection between Hip Hop culture and education. Jahi will talk about the connections between music, history, Hip Hop culture and art. This event is perfect for adults, families, and children of all ages who want to know more about Hip Hop.

This event will be held in Koret Auditorium.

This program is part of our Free Saturdays celebration of the exhibition, Soul of a Nation.

Ticket Information

General admission and special programming are free on Saturdays at the de Young and Legion of Honor for all residents of the nine Bay Area counties. Seating for this program is limited and first-come, first-served. Seating tickets will be distributed an hour before the event begins in front of the Koret Theater. Purchase of a special exhibition ticket is required on this day to see Soul of a Nation.
