During the Fifth Annual SOME THING Tiara Sensation Pageant, our contestants will show their talents and abilities using their artistry to woo the audience and persuade the judges to crown one of them the next Tiara Sensation of San Francisco.

SOME THING is a weekly party that allows us to explore, open, and redefine drag performance through traditional lipsynch, dance, live singing, vaudevillian antics, and the creation of new personas (regardless of race, gender, or color).

The Tiara Sensation Pageant is an exponentially grander experience of the weekly Club SOME THING, which finds it home at the oldest running gay bar in San Francisco, The Stud. This modern tradition has now been unleashed on the de Young, where Tiara Sensation participants have paraded, vogued, and worked the runway for 3 years.

SOME THING’s Tiara Sensation Pageant mixes nightlife with high art in one of the season’s most unique and exciting events. Fall in love with and feel the desire to continue the legacy and live the dream with us. You can join us every week on Friday nights at The Stud for two shows, a craft table, and dancing with local and national DJs.
