Leadership Circle, Patrons Circle, Business Council members at the Corporate Manager level and above, and exhibition sponsors are invited to the opening reception for Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power 1963–1983, which will include a celebration with local artists featured in the exhibition. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception and a sneak preview of the powerful and provocative internationally acclaimed exhibition that focuses on art made in the pivotal decades between 1963 and 1983, when issues of race and identity dominated and defined both public and private discourse.
