Leadership Circle, Patrons Circle, Business Council members at Corporate Manager level and above, and exhibition sponsors are invited to the opening celebration of the exhibition Judy Chicago, featuring behind-the-scenes highlights with Claudia Schmuckli, curator in charge of contemporary art and programming, in the Koret Auditorium. Guests enjoy a cocktail reception and preview the first-ever retrospective of this pioneering feminist artist. This major survey will trace her trajectory from the beginnings with her earliest abstract feminist art, to her landmark piece The Dinner Party and her subsequent innovative bodies of work exploring birth, masculinity, the Holocaust, and death.
