World Premiere Performances of Off the Walls

de Young Artist Fellows

Music, aerials, and dance combine in this new performance by Artist Fellow, composer, and trumpeter Sarah Wilson and Catch Me Bird, inspired by the work of Aaron Douglas.

Off the Walls is a site-specific, collaborative performance, which begins with a dance performance by Catch Me Bird in front of the museum and in Wilsey Court, followed by a stunning aerial performance in Koret Auditorium, all set against the dynamic musical stylings of Sarah Wilson.

Performances take place at the de Young on September 20, 21, and 22. Learn more or order tickets online.

Listen to Finale, an original composition by Sarah Wilson.
