Note that the popular annual San Francisco-based event Bay to Breakers may impact access to the de Young on Sunday, May 17. There will be limited parking and driving in Golden Gate Park. Many streets in the city, as well as JFK Drive, Transverse Drive, and Middle West Drive in Golden Gate Park will be closed. We strongly encourage visitors to take public transportation or bike/walk to Golden Gate Park and allow for extra time to get to the museum. Learn more about transportation options and the event.
