Visiting the de Young

John F. Kennedy Drive in Golden Gate Park will be closed to traffic from Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive to Crossover Drive on Saturdays, beginning April 2, 2016, through September 24, 2016. The closure is in effect from 6 am to 6 pm. Sunday street closures will continue as normal.

Admission tickets to the de Young include same-day general admission to the Legion of Honor. Additional fees may apply for special exhibitions. Prices and hours subject to change without notice. Last ticket sold one hour before closing. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or previously purchased tickets.

General admission to the de Young is free for all veterans and active military personnel with military ID on Veterans Day.

Visiting with Children

Infant changing stations are available in all restrooms. Standard-size strollers are allowed, however please note that some exhibitions have restricted stroller access.

The de Young offers a wide range of programming for children including a family audio tour available at the information desk, drop-in art classes on most Saturdays, and hands-on art making in the Artists Studio. For more information on programs for children, please visit Families with Children.
