Poets in the Galleries
New Program Changes
Devorah Major, poet and teacher, and other Bay Area poets lead classes on a single 90-minute session at the de Young this spring. Students participate in a variety of writing exercises designed to raise their awareness of the art objects they are viewing and to sharpen their ability to use language effectively to interpret what they are seeing and experiencing around them.
The Legion of Honor fall sessions are unavailable due to other programming.
