From March 19 to 23, the de Young Museum will once again be transformed with a magnificent mash-up of art and flowers when more than 100 of the Bay Area’s most innovative floral designers come together to produce Bouquets to Art 2013. In creating their spectacular floral arrangements, these designers pay tribute to and draw inspiration from the art in the de Young’s permanent collections. The annual event kicks off with an Opening Night Gala and Preview and continues with an array of special events throughout the week, including lively and engaging floral lecture demonstrations, catered lunches in the Piazzoni Murals Room, and a raffle drawing of deluxe prizes, including jewelry, travel packages, and other exciting items. And be sure not to miss the BTA Boutique and artisan jeweler trunk shows, featured by the Museum Stores! The Boutique will be open in advance of Bouquets to Art week.

Now in its 29th year, Bouquets to Art, organized and produced by the volunteer members of the San Francisco Auxiliary of the Fine Arts Museums, has raised over $5 million in support of conservation projects, education programs, and special exhibitions at the de Young and Legion of Honor museums.
