This exhibition features a number of notable American modernist drawings, watercolors, and prints, including works from Charles Sheeler's circle of artistic friends such as Marsden Hartley, Arthur Dove, Charles Demuth, and Georgia O'Keeffe. Modernist photographs from the collection include works by Paul Strand, Edward Steichen, Edward Weston, and Imogen Cunningham. Rounding out this exhibition is a significant loan from the Prentice and Paul Sack Photographic Trust, featuring masterworks by Walker Evans, Ralston Crawford, Ben Shahn, Dorothea Lange, Charles Sheeler, and Wright Morris.
