Music, aerials, and dance combine in this new performance by composer and trumpeter Sarah Wilson and Catch Me Bird, inspired by the work of Aaron Douglas.
Off the Walls is a site-specific, collaborative performance, which begins with a dance performance by Catch Me Bird in front of the museum and in Wilsey Court, followed by a stunning aerial performance in the Koret Auditorium, all set against the dynamic musical stylings of Sarah Wilson.
Ensemble: Dance/aerial performed by Nehara Kalev, C. Derrick Jones, Stephanie Chen, Colin Epstein, Zoe Klein, Gina Shorten, and Ellery Wulczyn. Music performed by Sarah Wilson (trumpet/vocals), Gary Brown (bass), Rob Ewing (trombone), John Schott (guitar), and Cory Wright (clarinet/sax).
Tickets are $15 ($10 FAMSF members). VIP packages are available.
