Frescomania: Bay Area and Beyond
Wednesdays–Sundays, 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Fridays (except November 30), 6:00–8:45 p.m.

Frescomania puts the ancient art of fresco center stage, inspired by the Teotihuacan murals on view in the de Young Art of the Americas galleries. The artist will interpret fragments of famous wall paintings from around the world and project images that show the fresco process, while an interactive element introduces visitors to the medium. A visit to Frescomania just might inspire you to seek out the numerous frescos open to public view in San Francisco.

Friday, November 23, 6:00–8:45 p.m.
Closing reception: Celebrate the residency of Javier Manrique with light refreshments, live music, and the final Friday Night of season 8!
