Friday Nights at the de Young: Past Discoveries and Future Relics
This event is expired.
Urbanauts (Sean Orlando and Matthew Passmore) and Jay Kravitz, Systemic, 2013.
Past Discoveries and Future Relics is an evening of sensory exploration revealing hidden worlds of experience in and around the de Young. Tonight's public programs are presented in partnership with Black Rock Arts Foundation and in celebration of the Urbanauts, de Young Artist Fellows Sean Orlando and Matthew Passmore.
Past Discoveries and Future Relics
Chart your own evening of ARTventure and discover experiences and performances situated inside and outside the museum. To celebrate the closing of the Urbanauts fellowship and exhibition, we are mapping out and engaging some of our favorite underutilized spaces at the de Young. Embark on a roving sensory treasure hunt, set your own pace of discovery, and regroup for a finale. Be there for the sunset and bring your own flashlight! Shhhh. . .
Public programs are free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
Access to special exhibitions and the permanent collection requires additional fees and tickets.
