FRONT OF THE MUSEUM

The Green Bookmobile of the San Francisco Public Library runs on 20 percent biodiesel and is specially equipped with solar panels, green AC, skylights for natural light, sustainably forested wood, a carpet made with recycled content, and a hybrid generator. It also has a special Green Stacks collection as well as a variety of juvenile, teen, and adult materials available for check out with an SFPL library card. The mobile library is able to circulate materials, create library cards, and provide the public with information about library services and programs.

The Green Bookmobile's visit to the de Young is presented in conjuction with Artist Fellows Andy Diaz Hope + Laurel Roth. Check out a special reading list created by the artists!

Ticket Information

Tonight's Friday Nights at the de Young programs are free. Tickets are required to view the permanent collection or special exhibitions.
