Live music by Revolution Quartet and special guests: CHAMBER MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE
Make art in Wilsey Court while you listen to Classical Revolution, talented classical musicians with a mission.
This evening's performance is the kickoff event for the inaugural Classical Revolution Music Festival, taking place September 2012 in several Bay Area venues, featuring musicians and ensembles representing various genres of music, in collaboration with Classical Revolution musicians.
The festival concerts will be held at large venues such as Yoshi's SF (Sept 9 with the Musical Art Quintet), Freight and Salvage (Sept 11 for Erik Jekabson's String-tet CD release concert), and Great American Music Hall (Sept 27 Classical Revolution Orchestra with guest singers and bands); and smaller, intimate venues like Revolution Cafe (every Monday night) and Red Poppy Art House (Sept 13 with Indian Classical chamber ensemble Karavika).
