THIS WEEK, July 22: Red Poppy Art House Salon

The Artist Salon series creates informal social gatherings in which a rotating selection of artists share brief presentations with the public and their artistic peers. This week we feature Red Poppy resident artist Ye Ye Suarez

"A theater, music, dance, and storytelling project that uses movement and rhythm from the African diaspora and Latin America to preserve the people's history and speak of issues affecting the community" - KPFA Full Circle

Join us again this fall when the Artist Fellows premiere their projects, including an original production by Campo Santo, directed by Sean San José; FAM BAM, a new documentary on the black family by Kevin Epps; and performances and paintings by Todd T. Brown.
