Street Closure Update

John F. Kennedy Drive in Golden Gate Park will be closed to traffic from Tea Garden Drive to Transverse Drive on Saturdays, beginning April 7, 2012.

John F. Kennedy Drive is closed to vehicular traffic on Saturdays from April 7 through September 29, and street parking within the park during those months will be limited. Visitors are encouraged to use the Music Concourse Garage and to take public transportation or bike to the museum.

For people with disability placards one accessible parking space will remain on John F. Kennedy Drive near Tea Garden Drive, four are located in the tour bus parking lot across from the Japanese Tea Garden, and four are on Martin Luther King Drive just west of Tea Garden Drive.
