December Artist-in-Residence, Corinne Okada Takara, presents Rhythms in Space

In Rhythms in Space, Takara assembles recycled materials with a whimsical creativity into airy three-dimensional tapestries and wearable art, while presenting a visual footprint of diverse Asian cultures at home and in the Asian diaspora. Visitors are encouraged to create a tapestry tile from wire, paper, produce netting, and other recycled materials collected on the museum grounds.
