April Artist in Residence: Ken Holden
April 7, 2010 - April 25, 2010
Join fine arts photographer Ken Holden to learn what a "photo anagram" is and how to interpret an environment with an impressionistic eye. Learn how to create a photo anagram by using replicated photographs to form a design. Apply that knowledge to create an impressionistic photograph (or interpretations). Bring your own camera to experiment with photo anagrams and impressionism.
Friday, April 23, 20106:00–8:30 p.m.
Closing Reception in the Kimball Education Gallery
Celebrate the residency of Ken Holden with light refreshments, and live music in Wilsey Court.
The Artist Studio program is a part of FAMSF's Cultural Encounters initiative designed to attract new and diverse audiences to the Museums. Cultural Encounters is generously funded by The James Irvine Foundation, The Wallace Foundation, The Institute of Museums and Library Services, the Columbia Foundation, and The Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation.
