Curriculum Resources for Educators

Schedule a Visit to the Resource Center for Education

The Resource Center for Education at the de Young Museum is open to educators and museum visitors with an interest in arts education. The center offers visitors an opportunity to plan museum visits, create classroom activities, or use the Museums' resources of touching-objects, books, videos and Art Trunks.

The Education department at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco provides a rich and varied array of resources for educators to implement in the classroom. Teachers Guides can be used both in the classroom to prepare students for their visit to the Museums as well as to conduct in-gallery lessons, while Get Smart with Art materials can be downloaded and applied in the classroom setting.
