Working with the permanent collection and the exhibition Revelations: Art from the African American South, participants will learn strategies for their students to develop descriptive language, creative expression, and tone. This workshop is led by poet devorah major. Space is limited to 14 teachers and is ideal for educators teaching fourth grade and above.

Ticket Information

Please note our teacher workshops are offered free of charge. Registration does require a $25 deposit, which is refunded after you attend the program. You may also secure your registration by mailing in a check with your confirmation email. Cancellations must be made one week in advance to avoid forfeiture of your deposit.
