September 24, 2017, 11:00 am12:30 pm
Page Views Meetup: “Revelations: Art from the African American South”

Piazzoni Murals Room

Join us to discuss Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.

On view now at the de Young, Revelations: Art from the African American South celebrates the debut of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco major acquisition from the Souls Grown Deep Foundation in Atlanta of 62 works by contemporary African American artists from the Southern United States. To deepen our engagement with these works and the culture and history they represent, Page Views has picked Gyasi’s debut novel as its next book club selection. Read, view, and discuss with us.

Can’t make it to the de Young to join us? Catch the event on our Facebook page as it streams live!
