This event is expired.
From small bouquets to an entire wedding tent, Thierry's work reflects a love for flowers and beauty. He delights in personal touches such as dressing garden statues with floral necklaces, or in creating individual arrangements for every table. His unique personal style enhances any event or space.
Thierry received his degree from Paris École spéciale d'architecture des jardins. He gained years of experience at Decoration Florale, the esteemed Parisian floral decoration firm. His work has been commissioned by major fashion houses of Givenchy, Valentino, Ricci, and Hermes, and he has had articles featuring his work in Architectural Digest and Elle Décor. His work is also featured in the books Vera Wang Weddings and LA Lofts by Barbara Thornberg.
Thierry is well known throughout Europe and America for his artistry, attention to detail, and down-to-earth personality.
Floral design experts create numerous arrangements onstage and engage audiences by sharing tips and trends. All demonstrations take place in the de Young Museum's Koret Auditorium; tickets are required and cost $40 each; includes museum admission.
Please note: To keep our flowers as fresh as possible, the temperature of the Koret Auditorium will be cooler than usual. Please dress accordingly.
To avoid will-call lines, order online and print tickets in advance. Tickets printed at home must include bar code.
