A native of Sonoma, California, Bill Taylor is a floral design professional with over 30 years of experience. For 16 years he owned Taylor’s of Sonoma, where he created flowers for the Disney family, among other local celebrities. Taylor has taught floral design at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada, as well as through classes in Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Japan. His work has appeared in shelter magazines and floral trade publications, including Flowers&, Florists’ Review Magazine, and Floriology. Taylor has been a member of American Institute of Floral Designers for 30 years, serving as president and a fellow. For his lecture demonstration, Taylor will create floral displays that correspond to significant periods in the history of floral design.
