Corporate Event Rental Spaces

Rental areas are available individually as well as in combination with other areas and galleries. For larger events, you may rent the entire museum or the entire concourse level.

Entire Museum The entire museum is available for rental and encompasses all event rental spaces including the tower, the sculpture garden, all galleries as well as the special exhibition. Have the entire museum to yourself for the evening. $29,250 Seated capacity: Call for details Reception capacity: 2,500+	Orange Photography Wilsey Court The Wilsey Court and lobby comprise the central artery of the de Young. This is the largest event space in the museum and provides a canvas on which you can create any style of event. $12,500 Seated capacity: 400 Reception capacity: 800	Hamon Observation Tower The magnificent Hamon Observation Tower provides unparalleled panoramic views of San Francisco, the Pacific Ocean, Marin Headlands and the lovely landscaping of Golden Gate Park. de Young Café The de Young Café provides the only indoor/outdoor rental space. Located adjacent to the Barbro Osher Sculpture Garden, the café features hand-blown glass light fixtures, modern design elements and glass walls providing views onto the Music Concourse and garden. The de Young Café rental includes use of indoor and outdoor café tables and chairs. Guests enter via the café entrance off Tea Garden Drive. Please note the Café Terrace may be tented during certain exhibitions. Please inquire with the facility rental manager $5,000 Seated capacity: 160 Reception capacity: 275	Piazzoni Murals Room The Piazzoni Murals Room is located adjacent to Wilsey Court and overlooks the Music Concourse. The Piazzoni murals and the polished hardwood floors create a warm, intimate event space. The Piazzoni Murals Room is available for both daytime and evening rentals and has built-in AV capabilities. This room is commonly rented for meetings, brunches, receptions or in conjunction with Wilsey Court as a lounge area for larger events. $5,000 Seated capacity: 130 Reception capacity: 250	Koret Auditorium The Koret Auditorium is a beautiful state-of-the-art theater with a hardwood floor stage and large leather seats. Spanning two levels of the museum, the auditorium is accessible from both the Concourse Level and the Lower Exhibition Level. The auditorium is available for both daytime and evening rentals. In the evenings, additional event spaces may be rented in conjunction with the Koret for intermissions, or pre or post-performance receptions. Guest entry depends on additional event spaces rented.
